Hi there, I'm Dawn.
I am looking for brothers Ian and Nick Wood (Woods) last seen when we met them and their family on holiday in Barmouth, Wales .... back early 80's.
I have 3 brothers and we had family holidays in Barmouth and became friends with the family.
I am sure they were from Stourbridge and if I remember correctly, part of their address was "Cherry Tree Court" or "Cherry Tree Lane" ....
PLEASE if anyone knows where they are - we are trying to arrange a reunion.
MANY THANKS, Dawn (40)
Name: Dawn Beazeley

I am looking for anyone who can tell me anything about my Grandfather Geoffrey Percival Cooke (or his family). He lodged in Eaton Bishop for about 20 years before his death in 1974. His landlady was Mrs Chandler of Broadwell Cottage. I never got to meet my Grandfather and would like to know all about him. Thank you in advance for any help you can give me.

Hello Ray (Dusty) Miller and absolutely fantastic to hear from you, I will get back to you very soon. With this message I shall attempt to upload a photo of myself and a few of my buddies at RAF Shobdon circa 1951/52, they are - back row Frankie Ratcliffe (Southport), Bill Bailey (Manchester), Bert Batho (don`t know where Bert was from), front row Paddy Patterson (Newry NI) and then me (Oldham). Hope you recognise one or more of us Dusty, I am so thrilled to hear from you, I had almost given up hope of ever finding anyone from my days at Shobdon. My very best regards, by the way, as you married a Leominster girl, pehaps she will know Olive Gough who lived at Cobnash, I `walked out` with her for about 18 months. Speak to you soon, Jack Farrington.

I'm hoping to find anyone who might have knowledge of Osman (Ossie)William Powell. He was born in 1883 in Peterchurch, youngest son of William Powell and Elizabeth (nee Pikes). He trained as a Blacksmith and on the 1901 census was living at home with his parents. Since then I have not been able to find any information on him - marriage, death, nothing. He even have left the country. His father, William, was my 3 x gt grandfather - but Ossie has always been a bit of a mystery. Can anyone help?
