I CAN'T THANK YOU ENOUGH. After posting a message on Where are they now?, a man who was born in Herefordshire, but lives in Australia (like me) contacted me as he had seen my message. After 3 years of searching I have finally located my mum's mum who hasn't been seen or heard of since 1949. I finally found her, unbelievably living in South Australia alive and well. After 55 years of wondering, my mum can finally meet her mum.

Thank you so much, if I hadn't of posted that message, I wouldn't have found her.

The message I posted worked brilliantly. I got in touch again with most of my friends mentioned on the site even after a gap of over 20 years. 'Where Are They Now' works superbly well.

Hi, I got a response to my message concerning J. Bounds of Kington. Of all places, from someone in Australia! I have been trying to determine if any of J. Bounds' brothers or sisters had a family remaining in the Kington area. Sometimes it does take a while but somewhere along the way I do get an occasional response ... which is most rewarding.

I had great success with my message. About six months after I put the message in the person I was looking fors son (who is a computer programmer) saw my message and passed it on to his mother.

She doesn't have a computer and says she doesn't know how to use one but we write to each other through her son. In March I'm going to Worcester to visit my parents and I hope to see my friend while I'm there. I'm so grateful for your website for helping me find my friend. Also I like to read what's happening in my home town through the web site. I even check the weather to see if it's better than what we've got here in Canada.
